Another big week Madison!
So much to do, so little time.

Make Music Madison
 | This free, citywide day of music happens every year on June 21 — aka the summer solstice. Madison is one of thousands of cities around the world joining in on the fun. You’ll find countless performances at over 100 venues spread all across the city. (Your humble newsletter writer is playing three of them, if you want to come say hi IRL!) |
Sessions at Garver
 | The McPike Park Sessions (which used to be the Central Park Sessions) is now the Sessions at Garver. And they’re looking to be HUGE! Local favorite Armchair Boogie kick things off Thursday night, followed by Iris Dement (!!!), Los Taxmaniacs and the Waco Brothers. Now that they have an indoor home, this series is truly rain or shine. Except it to be epic. And plan your carpooling accordingly. We're guessing parking is gonna be a bit tight this weekend. #WorthIt! |
Juneteenth
 | Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the US. This year marks 160 years since the Emancipation Proclamation — a powerful reminder of how far we've come, and how far we still have to go. There are many ways to celebrate Freedom Day across Madison. The Cap Times has a great roundup. |
Jay and Silent Bob’s Aural Sects Tour
 | If you were kicking around during the 90s, you know Jay and Silent Bob. Well they’re coming to town! They’ll be at Atwood Music Hall on Sunday at 8pm. (Snoochie Boochies — yes, they still say it. Probably.) |
